Role Overview

The Recruiter is responsible for driving the full-cycle recruiting process at the Charlotte branch serving as the front line between candidate sourcing and client fulfillment. This is a hands on role that blends high volume recruiting with relationship management youll be screening and placing candidates conducting interviews counseling employees and ensuring the branch consistently delivers qualified talent to meet client needs. The position requires someone who can juggle competing priorities communicate effectively under pressure and maintain a professional client-first approach at all times.

The ideal candidate is organized adaptable and brings strong recruiting instincts paired with excellent interpersonal skills. The schedule is Monday through Friday with standard office hours. Weekly client check-ins may require early morning availability starting at 6:00 AM. On-call rotation of one week per month covers after-hours emergencies and workers compensation situations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Recruiting screening interviewing placing and counseling temporary and temp-to-hire employees
  • Accurately assessing applicant qualifications to ensure correct job placement and client satisfaction
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates across light-industrial and manufacturing roles
  • Managing day-to-day recruiting activity including job postings applicant tracking and candidate follow-up
  • Providing employee counseling and handling workplace issues professionally
  • Conducting client site check-ins typically once per week which may require early starts as early as 6:00 AM
  • Serving as the on-call point of contact one week per month for emergencies and workers compensation incidents
  • Receiving and applying constructive feedback to continuously improve recruiting performance
  • Working effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced high-volume environment

Required Background

  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting or staffing industry experience
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Must hold a valid drivers license with own vehicle and proof of insurance
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
  • Must be flexible and willing to work early mornings late evenings and occasional weekends as needed
