Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation

  • Identify qualify and convert high-margin opportunities across upstream and midstream operations.
  • Drive early-stage opportunity identification through market intelligence industry engagement and stakeholder mapping.
  • Lead commercial positioning strategies for major tenders and long-term service agreements.


Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders including: NAPIMS NIPEX NCDMB PETAN.
  • Ensure alignment with local content regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions technical forums and strategic networking events.


Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and manage strategic accounts within IOC and indigenous operator networks.
  • Translate client operational needs into value-driven technical and commercial solutions.
  • Drive account retention expansion and long-term partnership development.
  • Monitor live contracts and advise clients proactively to strengthen relationship equity.


Market Intelligence & Positioning

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends competitor positioning and growth opportunities.
  • Develop partnership strategies to enhance service offerings and competitive advantage.
  • Provide periodic revenue forecasts pipeline reports and executive-level BD insights.




Requirements

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering Marketing or related discipline.
  • MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.


Experience

  • Minimum of 710 years experience in Business Development within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Demonstrated success in securing and managing high-value upstream/midstream contracts.
  • Strong industry network within IOCs and indigenous operators.


Core Competencies

  • Deep understanding of Oil & Gas industry standards contracting models and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian local content requirements.
  • Expertise in bid strategy tender preparation and contract negotiation.
  • Commercial acumen and financial modeling capability.
  • Executive-level presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking ability.
