Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation
- Identify qualify and convert high-margin opportunities across upstream and midstream operations.
- Drive early-stage opportunity identification through market intelligence industry engagement and stakeholder mapping.
- Lead commercial positioning strategies for major tenders and long-term service agreements.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders including: NAPIMS NIPEX NCDMB PETAN.
- Ensure alignment with local content regulations and compliance requirements.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions technical forums and strategic networking events.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and manage strategic accounts within IOC and indigenous operator networks.
- Translate client operational needs into value-driven technical and commercial solutions.
- Drive account retention expansion and long-term partnership development.
- Monitor live contracts and advise clients proactively to strengthen relationship equity.
Market Intelligence & Positioning
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends competitor positioning and growth opportunities.
- Develop partnership strategies to enhance service offerings and competitive advantage.
- Provide periodic revenue forecasts pipeline reports and executive-level BD insights.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering Marketing or related discipline.
- MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 710 years experience in Business Development within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing high-value upstream/midstream contracts.
- Strong industry network within IOCs and indigenous operators.
Core Competencies
- Deep understanding of Oil & Gas industry standards contracting models and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian local content requirements.
- Expertise in bid strategy tender preparation and contract negotiation.
- Commercial acumen and financial modeling capability.
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking ability.
