You provide software and applications expertise and be responsible for implementation of the solutions.
How you will contribute
You will oversee the planning and execution of software and applications. To do so you will manage an internal team and partner with external suppliers and use your deep technical and market knowledge and thorough understanding of our business goals find and deploy the right software and application solutions for the future. You will support programs to implement regional and global software and application strategies offer input to financial planning and controls for software and applications on a regional and global level collaborate with management and follow-up on requisitions purchase orders invoices and payments explores opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings and ensure that support service level objectives and key performance indicators are accomplished.

This role lead acts as the bridge between regional business needs and global MDS Products & Platform strategy. The role is accountable for delivering scalable flexible and collaborative MDS solutions that enable business transformation across markets. The MDS Planning Lead ensures successful adoption of core planning product solutions and platforms (like SAP S/4HANA and O9 aligning with global product architecture while addressing regional business needs.

Define accountability across global regional and market levels. Prevent overlaps in responsibilities to avoid confusion and conflict. The MDS Planning Lead must own regional MDS delivery while aligning with global solution frameworks.

Champion seamless communication between business MDS and vendor teams. Set up effective communication channels to support joint decision-making and transparency.
Autonomy & Empowerment
Empower local and regional teams to make timely market-relevant decisions. Ensure these decisions are aligned with global standards and strategies.

Design MDS solutions and operational models that scale with business growth and can adapt to changing market needs or disruptions.

Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Provide thought leadership to shape regional solution strategies aligned with global digital architecture.
Drive fit-gap assessments and influence global Core Model evolution through regional insights.
Program Delivery & Governance
Own regional MDS plans execution and delivery metrics.
Lead end-to-end testing cutover and hypercare in coordination with business and vendor partners.
Manage risk analysis and escalation protocols
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a trusted MDS advisor to regional business leads.
Support the BRD creation and validation process to ensure clarity and completeness.
Deliver executive-level reporting on KPIs risks and adoption metrics.
Change & Resource Management
Co-develop change management strategies to ensure user adoption and process readiness.
Lead upskilling and retention of critical MDS resources in-region.
Support contingency planning and operational continuity.
Ensure that MDS investments yield measurable business value in cost efficiency and competitive advantage.
Support agile delivery models (e.g. sprint sign-offs tech gates).

Work schedule:
Hybrid 3 days at office per week.
