Supplier Performance Management Manager (Aerostructures & Onboard interconnect)

Location: India (onsite & frequent supplier travel)

Position Summary:

The Supplier Performance Management (SPM) Manager owns supplier on-time delivery recovery and medium/longterm supplier performance improvement. The role requires extensive on-site presence at supplier facilities (50% travel) strong cross-functional coordination and handson crisis management to mitigate supply risks and restore delivery performance.

Key Missions & Activities:

- Lead and monitor implementation of supplier delivery recovery plans; act on-site at supplier facilities to drive immediate remediation.

- Assess risks for critical items; develop and implement mitigation plans to prevent future shortages.

- Drive supplier production planning priorities and track progress for critical parts; align supplier schedules with internal requirements.

- Manage crisis escalations report status to stakeholders and lead cross-functional crisis teams.

- Coordinate longer-term recovery actions with Purchasing and define optimized logistics terms with suppliers.

- Facilitate hands-on transport of parts when required for critical resolution.

- Define and prioritize Kaizen/improvement actions at supplier sites to optimize processes tooling and interfaces.

- Analyze supplier OTD (on-time delivery) metrics; implement OTD reviews and corrective action plans for poor performers.

- Establish and improve SPM KPIs dashboards and reporting to increase supplychain resilience.

- Support supplier capability development training and knowledge transfer as needed.

Responsibilities & Expected Conduct:

- Ensure adherence to applicable corporate quality assurance rules and health & safety directives.

- Maintain workplace tools and documentation in good order; respect FOD procedures and PPE requirements.

- Organize and lead regular team meetings; cascade strategy decisions and performance targets to the SPM team.

- Maintain storage/area organization and recommend improvements where relevant.

- Perform additional assignments as requested by line management.

Required Technical Skills & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Operations Engineering or equivalent.

- 510 years experience in supply chain / supplier performance roles (aerospace or highprecision manufacturing preferred).

- Proven experience managing supplier recovery production ramp-ups and supplier onsite interventions.

- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).

- Strong analytical skills KPI reporting and experience with OTD monitoring and root-cause analysis.

- Ability to allocate resources level-load teams and manage cross-functional projects across countries.

- Comfortable with frequent travel (50% of time) and extended on-site supplier presence.

IT / Language:

- MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting.

- SAP / ERP proficiency.

- Fluency in English mandatory; knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus.
