Deputy Home Manager Childrens Residential Home -
Step into a Deputy Home Manager role where your leadership directly shapes the day-to-day lives of young people aged 1118 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This childrens residential home is Ofsted-regulated and requires a confident Deputy Manager who can lead shifts guide staff and maintain high standards of care. Youll work closely with the Registered Manager sharing responsibility for safeguarding performance and the overall direction of the home.
Before You Apply
- A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (Minimum) is required.
- You must have experience working in an Ofsted-regulated childrens home.
- This role is not suitable for candidates without senior or supervisory experience in residential care.

What Youll Need

What Youll Do
- Support the Registered Manager with the daily running of the home
- Lead shifts and ensure care plans are implemented consistently
- Supervise and mentor Residential Support Workers
- Monitor safeguarding practices and behaviour management strategies
- Contribute to care planning risk assessments and placement reviews
- Maintain accurate records in line with Ofsted requirements
