The Role: UI Senior Software Engineer Development

The Team

We are looking for a senior engineer with strong problem-solving skills and the curiosity to learn and apply a broad set of modern technologies and platforms. You will join a dynamic engineering team that leverages data-driven products to deliver innovative vehicle forecasting solutions and create meaningful competitive advantage.

The Impact

In this role you will help drive thedesign development and evolution of modern web applicationswith a strong focus on user experience maintainability and scale. This position is well-suited to a senior engineer who enjoys a fast-paced high-ownership environment while valuing the rigor required forhigh-quality on-time delivery.

You will collaborate across disciplines mentor other engineers and contribute to modernizing and scaling the platform usingmodern front-end frameworks cloud services serverless computing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contribute tofront-end architecture design decisions and development for scalable maintainable web applications built with a modern component-based framework.
  • Partner withback-end engineers UX designers DevOps and product managersto deliver features aligned with user needs and business priorities.
  • Drive best practices inCI/CD pipelines automated testing peer code reviews and performance optimization.
  • Implement and enforce standards forcode quality maintainability and application securityusingcode quality toolsandsoftware composition/security scanning tools.
  • Contribute to and coordinatetechnology upgradesto keep the codebase current stable and supportable.
  • Mentor train and support hiringof junior and mid-level engineers fostering a high-performance and inclusive engineering culture.
  • Championagile delivery practicesto ensure rapid reliable release of product enhancements.

Education & Experience (Required)

  • 7 yearsof professional front-end development experience including5 yearsusing a modern enterprise front-end framework (version 8 or later where applicable).
  • 3 yearsof experience building solutions withserverless architecturesand cloud-based function execution.
  • Strong proficiency inTypeScript JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 and component-driven development.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintainingCI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding ofunit testing frameworksandend-to-end testing frameworks including test automation best practices.
  • Familiarity withcode quality toolsandsecurity/composition analysis toolsfor managing vulnerabilities and third-party dependencies.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability tolead technical discussions conduct code reviews and guide/mentor engineers.
  • Experience working inagile environments balancing delivery speed with software quality stability and risk management.
  • Familiarity withJSONandRESTful web services.
  • Experience working withlarge data setsand databases.
  • Ability to work effectively in adynamic changing environment.
  • Automotive domain experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience withfront-end state managementpatterns/libraries.
  • Exposure toDevOps practices cloud deployment approaches andfront-end performance monitoring/observability.
  • Prior experience instartup or high-velocity delivery environmentswith structured engineering practices.
  • Bachelors degree incomputer science web development or a related field(or equivalent practical experience).

Organizational Relationships

  • Reports directly to thetechnical manager.
  • Collaborates with colleagues atall levelsas part of day-to-day execution.
  • Participates in meetings withinternal stakeholdersto assess business needs and align on delivery priorities.
