Job Summary
Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Schedule: Day Shift 7:00 AM 3:00 PM Afternoon Shift 3:00 PM 11:00 PM (15% shift premium)
Type: Contract-to-Hire / Full-Time
Overview:
We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to support a busy manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting repairing and maintaining electrical systems controls and equipment while ensuring smooth operations and supporting process improvements.
What Youll Do:
Perform maintenance adjustments and repairs on motors electrical controls conveyors presses and other machinery
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform root-cause problem solving to maintain operational efficiency
Support setup and operation of production equipment
Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and electrical safety protocols
Complete preventive maintenance tasks corrective actions and proper documentation
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and support team goals
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Knowledge of electrical systems circuits and schematics
Experience with motors controls automation and related manufacturing equipment
Ability to read and interpret mechanical hydraulic and electrical diagrams
Welding skills (MIG/Arc) and use of cutting torches a plus
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred
Familiarity with manufacturing quality and environmental standards (IATF16949 ISO 14001) preferred
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting
Willingness to work required overtime
