Job Summary

General Legal Risk and Compliance Support (Role 1):

  • Provide administrative and analytical support to the Legal Risk and Compliance team including flexible support during peak periods and ad hoc tasks aligned to defined scope and escalation frameworks.
  • Assist with triage logging and tracking of matters across compliance risk privacy and regulatory inboxes.
  • Maintain registers files and systems ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Review letters template agreements and other legal documents under supervision.
  • Support preparation of reports summaries and materials for governance and internal forums.
  • Undertake controls testing across the business under supervision (no independent conclusions or sign-off) including evidence collection and documentation maintenance of control libraries/schedules/sampling packs recording outcomes for LGRC review and tracking remediation actions and closure evidence.
  • Assist with policy procedure and governance document updates including formatting and version control.
  • Support incident issue and complaints administration including (i) completeness checks on submissions and evidence (ii) follow-up with owners to resolve gaps and (iii) maintaining end-to-end linkages between events/incidents issues controls and remediation actions. Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain information and progress matters.

Investigations Support (Role 2):

  • Support investigations into broker franchisee buyers agent and employee conduct from an administrative and factual perspective.
  • Review and collate information and evidence including emails documents system records and alerts.
  • Create and maintain investigation files evidence logs timelines and document registers.
  • Assist the investigation manager including with drafting investigation summaries and reports under Legal or Compliance oversight.
  • Review alerts system reports and data loss or information security reports to support fact-finding.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain information and clarify factual matters.
  • Support secure handling and organisation of sensitive investigation materials including in-office file management where required.

This opportunity is open to graduate students or early-career professionals who are eager to learn and build a career in Legal Risk and Compliance. Youre detail-oriented organised proactive and comfortable working with data managing competing priorities and engaging with stakeholders across the business.

What Success Looks Like

  • Registers and trackers are accurate up to date and audit-ready with clear documentation and version control.
  • Statutory and internal timeframes are tracked and consistently met.
  • Matters are progressed efficiently and properly documented with appropriate oversight and confirmation from accountable Legal Risk or Compliance owners.
  • Escalation triggers are applied consistently with high-risk or sensitive matters escalated promptly and appropriately.
