About the Role

Our Disputes Litigation team work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment where no two days are the same. Youll play a key role in managing debt recovery processes drafting legal documents and supporting lawyers across a variety of litigation matters.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leading clients and contribute to meaningful outcomes without the constraints of traditional billable-hour models. If youre organised proactive and eager to be part of a collaborative human-centered law firm this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Working with our Disputes Litigation team this is a dynamic fast-paced role. Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

Managing uncontested debt recovery for panel clients
Drafting & collating bulk letters of demand for panel clients
Drafting Court documents Claims default judgment application enforcement application for matters all over Australia
Keep file records/status up to date for reporting to clients
Assist lawyers with various tasks e.g. discovery or drafting witness statements/affidavits for motor vehicle collision matters.
Attending periodic meetings with clients to discuss file progress

Qualifications & Experience

Strong understanding of civil litigation processes including court filing procedures
Document management including drafting and collating letters of demand court forms and affidavits
Experience in managing a high volume of files and being diligent with action and reporting
Experience in legal research
Comfortable working in a technology-enabled legal environment and open to adopting new tools platforms and ways of working
