What you will do
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for daily technical operations including application management and support for all Nasdaq provided services. This includes 24/7 technical operations and application support managing incidents for both internal and external customers installing application updates and maintaining operational documentation and procedures. Furthermore you will:
Design plan and deploy changes to our existing systems for operational excellence as well as implementing new solutions to enhance how we test deploy maintain operate.
Maintain operational documentation needed for second line operation.
Lead projects and independently carry out our parts of large implementation projects.
Be part of all activities regarding our applications such as the handling of incoming issues incident solving requirements and launching of new releases enhancing the processes and automation.
What We Expect
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or similar
At least 5 years of experience from working with AWS and Cloud DevOps System Administration Network Application Operations or other related areas
Excellent knowledge and experience in AWS services and architecture (AWS certificates would be a plus)
Proven expertise in Linux/Unix
Strong experience with Terraform
Proven experience with Kubernetes (EKS/EKS-A)
Extensive knowledge to design and create CI/CD pipelines extensive experience in Git/GitLab
Proven knowledge in scripting and automation
Strong communication skills and ability to document technical solutions
The ability to learn Nasdaq own systems combined with a great work ethic
Amenable to work APAC shift weekend on call (rotational) and work at least twice a week in the Nasdaq office at Bonifacio Global City Taguig.
