The Junior Manager Hotel Openings will participate in the project management across all divisions to support hotels during critical times: opening renovation change of brand change of ownership & deflag.
Keys to the success of this role is the ability to communicate & collaborate closely with Operations and build trusted partnerships within each Accor expert building excellence execution with a focus on quality and delivery as well as an eye for detail and time management.
Key interactions
Acting as a key cross-functional partner the Junior Manager of Hotel Openings works closely with Accor expert teams as well as owners and external partners to orchestrate seamless and impactful hotel launches.
The Junior Manager Hotel Openings will report to Global Director Hotel Opening.
Internally:
Global Marketing & Brand Operations Topline and Performance Development Procurement Design & Technical Services Food & Beverage Wellness IT CSR People & Culture Loyalty Finance & Legal.
Externally:
General Managers Hotel HODs Owners External partners.
Key missions and responsibilities
The Junior Manager Hotel Openings will be leading his/her own projects and will support the team on global missions.
Opening projects
- Monitor project progress manage cross-functional stakeholders (Design IT Distribution) anticipate risks and ensure timely delivery.
- Support building Pre-Opening budget with VPOs & experts for managed hotels
- Act as the primary contact for hotels on opening-related matters
- Follow-up Year 1 performance (Commercial quality brand conformity)
- Support hotels in other critical moments (Renovation change of ownership deflags)
Project Management & Administrative
- Prepare monthly reporting for top management on opening progress pipeline status and key KPIs
- Consolidate and maintain accurate data across all opening projects and support executive dashboards
- Administer the project management tool (updates data quality control user access and system enhancements)
- Train and support hotel teams and stakeholders on tool usage and best practices
- Coordinate follow-up with hotels to ensure timely completion of opening tasks and maintain project documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes tools and working methods
- Measure hotel satisfaction after each opening & build action plan based on feedback
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
- Ensure each opening delivers a strong and differentiated guest experience from day one
- Deploy standards governance and best practices to accelerate guest satisfaction
Qualifications :
What you will bring to the role
- University education at Bac 5 level or business school
- 3 years of professional experience including exposure to operations or experience working on project management
- Highly proficient in written and verbal English
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on delivery mindset
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
