As a Security Officer - Dispatch in Richmond VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location you will coordinate officer activity monitor alarms and cameras and help direct responses to security-related concerns. You will support access control and badge activity document incidents using a computer and/or tablet and provide professional customer service to tenants visitors and staff. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Operate the dispatch function for a commercial real estate location by monitoring alarms cameras and access control activity and coordinating responses via phone radio and/or electronic systems.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including prioritizing calls for service and notifying on-site personnel and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Maintain detailed dispatch logs and incident documentation including time-stamped events notifications made and follow-up actions and communicate status updates to property management and/or supervisors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as directed and report unusual activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns per site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security experience.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
