Job Description
As a Security Officer - EMTin Asheville NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location as an unarmed Patrol Officer. You will conduct routine foot and/or mobile patrols stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents document observations and respond to requests with strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in the job state. Bring integrity and teamwork to a caring agile reliable and innovative culture.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and public responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by post.
- Monitor access points and help manage entry and exit by following badging visitor processing and contractor check-in procedures per site requirements.
- Complete reports for incidents patrol observations and unusual activity and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- EMT Certification is required.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Ride a Bike for Long Periods of Time is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
