In collaboration with the Senior Director Communications Public Affairs and Corporate Responsibility and in support of the broader team the Advisor plays a key tactical role in the development and deployment of internal and external communication tools. The role is responsible for the execution consistency and cadence of corporate communications and acts as a shared resource within the team to support the vicepresidencies in the delivery of internal and external initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deploy internal and external communication plans ensuring consistency and quality.
- Write and produce a wide range of content including press releases Q&As speeches presentations and corporate LinkedIn content among others.
- Manage the corporate editorial calendar and ensure message alignment across internal and external channels.
- Conduct daily media monitoring analyze coverage and produce media coverage and performance reports.
- Contribute to intranet management and content creation.
- Support the coordination of corporate projects and events (Annual General Meeting employee meetings internal and external announcements).
- Collaborate with external partners and suppliers and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Support spokesperson preparation including logistics and briefing documents.
- Recommend optimizations to tools processes and ways of working including the integration of artificial intelligence solutions.
Qualifications :
- University degree in communications public relations journalism marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate communications public relations or a related role requiring strong execution skills.
- Strong writing abilities and the capacity to quickly produce clear structured content tailored to a wide range of target audiences.
- Graphic design and video editing skills are an asset.
- Strong organizational skills autonomy and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated project management skills experience coordinating events and working with external suppliers.
- Ability to analyze information synthesize data or insights and provide recommendations.
- Solid knowledge of new communication practices and an interest in integrating artificial intelligence.
- Oral and written fluency in French and English*
A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English both orally and in writing with colleagues customers and other stakeholders in Quebec the rest of Canada and internationally.
