Teaching Product Design across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 available depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging technically rigorous lessons combining theory and practical application
Supporting pupils with design projects coursework and portfolio development
Encouraging innovation problem-solving and independent thinking
Ensuring high standards of workshop safety and compliance
Contributing to curriculum development within the Design & Technology department
Supporting extracurricular design clubs competitions or STEM-related initiatives
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Product Design Engineering Industrial Design or a related discipline
Experience teaching Product Design or resistant materials at KS3 and KS4
Strong practical workshop knowledge and CAD/CAM experience
Clear understanding of health & safety in a workshop environment
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and achievement
A creative organised and forward-thinking teaching approach
