Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4 with potential KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Promoting high standards of food hygiene safety and organisation within practical settings
Supporting pupils with coursework controlled assessments and exam preparation
Encouraging creativity independence and confidence in practical cooking and nutrition
Contributing to curriculum development within the Design & Technology faculty
Supporting enrichment activities such as cooking clubs or healthy living initiatives
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Food Technology Hospitality Nutrition or a related field
Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4
Strong knowledge of food safety legislation and assessment requirements
Excellent classroom and practical management skills
High expectations for pupil achievement and engagement
A positive organised and collaborative teaching style
