The Role

• Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4 with significant KS5 teaching available depending on experience

• Delivering practical Chemistry lessons with a strong emphasis on safety precision and analytical thinking

• Supporting pupils with examination preparation and academic extension opportunities

• Contributing to curriculum development and continuous departmental improvement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline

• Experience teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 strongly desirable)

• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach challenging concepts clearly

• High expectations for pupil behaviour engagement and academic achievement

• A professional organised and reflective teaching approach
