Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 available depending on experience
Delivering engaging lessons in performance composition listening and music theory
Preparing pupils for GCSE (and A-Level where applicable) examinations
Leading practical ensemble work including small group and whole-class performance
Encouraging creativity and confidence across a range of musical styles and genres
Contributing to concerts productions and wider co-curricular music opportunities
Supporting instrumental progression and musical enrichment activities
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or a closely related discipline
Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4
Strong practical and theoretical subject knowledge
The ability to inspire pupils of all abilities
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
A collaborative and proactive approach to department development
