The Team

The product onboarding team is one of the most critical teams within thebankand alignswith thebanksstrategic successful candidate joining this team will not only learn what itislike to be a full-stack software engineer but alsoget towork directly with leaders from both the business and technologyside! Additionally the successful candidate will have the opportunity to experience what it is like to work within an Agile software engineering team. Finally the successful candidate can expect to learn about financial services and regulations within thebank!

Contributes to the overall success of the Product Onboarding Engineering Team globally ensuring specific individual goals plans and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of theteamsbusiness strategies and all activities conductedare in compliancewith governing regulations internal policies and procedures.

Is this role right for you

• You will work within a team of approximately 5 to 7 cross-functionalindividuals.
• You will provide system analysis object-orienteddesign / programming technical documentation and support for existing and new applications andsystems.
• You will provide recommendations on best practices and enhancements that are in line with thebankstechnologyroadmap.
• You will work with the project team to refine technical requirements and provide technical design and guidance based on industry bestpractices.
• You will perform coding unit testing debugging documenting and implementing applications andscripts.
• You will participate in the estimation and planning of development efforts required for various projects andenhancements.
• You will maintain support and enhance existing applications and participate in regular code reviews for releaseactivities.
• You will lead the implementation efforts for implementations of code to non-production and productionenvironments.
• You will participate in production issue analysis and perform root cause analysis for production issues and implementationissues.
• You will assist the product owners and business analysts in discovering the current system behavior and provide recommendations on improving the currentsystem.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role

• CompletedBachelorsDegree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related area.
• Knowledge of CSS Modules Styled Components and Tailwind CSS with a focus on responsive design.
• 2 years of software development experience building web applications using technologies such as ReactJS Redux Toolkit React Query Context API Zod Axios TypeScript NodeJS MongoDB Redis.
• Strong understanding of React fundamentals hooks forms routing and state tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with modern JS toolsets (ES6 Webpack Babel Jest Aqua Checkmarks Web Inspect) and deep knowledge of HTML/CSS/SASS.
• The candidate must have a good understanding of existing web and cloud applications (including complex application systems) evaluate problems identify actions tobe takenand recommendsolutions.
• Deliver code development unit testing UAT support implementation and operationalsupport.
• Experience with Google Cloud cloud-based developmentstacks.
• Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)functional designand standard software engineering tools and platforms.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (such as Docker Kubernetes) and DevOps tools (such as Bitbucket Git Ansible Jenkins).
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
