Associate Director, Genesis, Investment Data and Valuations

This is a vital role in ensuring MFS provide quality fund administration services to our clients. An Investment Data and Valuations (IDV) Associate Director will operate and oversee internal and vendor systems to create and maintain accurate investment product database investment pricing and valuation corporate action processing and investment reporting etc.

An IDV Associate Director will have deep knowledge of financial market exchange traded and OTC products and investment pricing and valuation as well as a keen interest in learning new technologies and systems that help automate and process timely and accurate financial data.

An IDV Associate Director will have a good knowledge on database and technical aspects of key systems. An IDV Associate Director will take leadership in certain operational functions.

• Build and monitor automated workflows for global reference data pricing and valuation corporate action trade processing etc.
• Ensure accurate and timely setup and update of global security and pricing database.
• Continuously review and update rules and logics for automated workflows to streamline and optimize operations.
• Key contact and solution owner for queries from internal colleagues and external clients regarding investment products pricing and valuation of corporate actions and investment reporting

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree is a minimum
• Masters in finance Economics Business Analytics Mathematics Computational Finance Financial Engineering or other quantitative fields preferred
• CFA FRM or enrolment in such professional programs is strongly desired
• 8 years financial services industry experience is a minimum
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite of products
• Proficient with VBA SQL Python or other programming languages
• Experience with Bloomberg Refinitiv ICE IHS Markit and/or other market data vendors
• Experience with SSC Geneva and Broadridge Applications
