Job Summary

The Challenge

Responsible for the reliable safe execution quality maintenance repairs condition monitoring fault-finding and component overhaul of diesel driven of Earthmoving Equipment in accordance with OEM prescribed standards regulations procedures and methodologies to achieve optimum equipment availability reliability and process efficiency objectives.

Qualifications :

The Ideal Applicant

Grade 10 (24 points over 7 subjects including an E- symbol in English with Mathematics and Science).
NQF Level 1 Certificate (4x technical subjects).
NQF Level 1 Modular Training.
Valid Code B/BE Drivers License (Manual Transmission)
Added advantage Valid code C drivers license (Manual Transmission).
18 months demonstrated trade-related experience working on Earthmoving equipment in the Diesel Mechanic environment.
Added Advantage would be at least 6 months knowledge on installation and repairs of Lubrication and Greasing Systems on Earthmoving equipment and Heavy Commercial Vehicles.
Diesel mechanic trade technical knowledge and practices.
Diesel mechanic vehicle maintenance procedures.
