Job Summary

The Challenge

Responsible for the reliable safe execution quality maintenance repairs condition monitoring fault-finding and component overhaul of diesel driven of Earthmoving Equipment in accordance with OEM prescribed standards regulations procedures and methodologies to achieve optimum equipment availability reliability and process efficiency objectives.

Qualifications :

The Ideal Applicant

Grade 10 (24 points over 7 subjects and an E in English) with Mathematics and Science.
NQF Level 1 Certificate (4x technical subjects).
NQF Level 1 Modular Training.
Valid Code B/BE Drivers License (Manual Transmission)
18 months demonstrated trade-related experience at B1 level in a Diesel Mechanic environment.
Preference will be given to candidates with equipment specific OEM training and at least eighteen (18) months experience maintaining Volvo A60H articulated dump trucks.
