Job Summary

The Challenge

Responsible for the execution of all auto-electrical functions and the reliable safe execution quality maintenance repairs condition monitoring fault-finding of diesel driven Heavy Commercial Vehicles and Earthmoving Equipment in accordance with OEM prescribed standards regulations procedures and methodologies to achieve optimum equipment availability reliability and process efficiency objectives.

Qualifications :

The Ideal Applicant:

Grade 10 (24 points over 7 subjects including an E- symbol in English with Mathematics and Science).
NQF Level 1 Certificate (4x technical subjects).
NQF Level 1 Modular Training.
Valid Code B/BE Drivers License (Manual Transmission)
Added advantage Valid code CE drivers license (Manual Transmission).
18 months demonstrated trade-related experience working on Earthmoving equipment and Heavy Commercial Vehicle in the Auto-electrical environment.
Auto Electrical trade technical knowledge and practises.
Auto Electrical vehicle maintenance procedures.
