Job Summary

The Challenge

Responsible for the reliable safe execution quality maintenance repairs condition monitoring fault-finding and component overhaul of diesel driven Earthmoving Equipment in accordance with OEM prescribed standards regulations procedures and methodologies to achieve optimum equipment availability reliability and process efficiency objectives.

Qualifications :

The Ideal Applicant

Grade 10 (24 points over 7 subjects and an E in English) with Mathematics and Science
Vocational Training Level 3 certificate / N3.
The above Qualifications should be NTA accredited.
Eighteen (18) months demonstrated trade-related experience at B3 level in a Diesel Mechanic environment.
Valid code B drivers license (Manual Transmission).
Preference will be given to candidates with equipment specific OEM training and at least eighteen (18) months experience maintaining Volvo A60H articulated dump trucks.
