THE MANDATE:
You are the "Market Liaison." This is a dual-focus role requiring the tactical precision of a Media Buyer and the revenue-driven mindset of a Media Seller. You will manage the lifecycle of media inventoryfrom negotiating with vendors for prime OOH sites to selling integrated tech-enabled "brand experiences" to major Indian agencies and direct clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Media Buying & Planning: Lead the end-to-end planning and buying for OOH and Transit media. Secure prime inventory (Billboards Transit Digital Screens) at optimal rates to maximize client ROI.
Revenue Generation (Selling): Pitch and sell SkyBlues international and domestic media assets to Indian advertisers particularly focusing on Cross-Media Bundles (OOH Digital In-Film).
Vendor & Agency Management: Build a robust network of suppliers and media owners across India. Maintain "top-to-top" relationships with buying teams at major agencies (GroupM Madison etc.).
OTT & In-Film Integration: Leverage SkyBlues unique positioning to package traditional outdoor offerings with innovative brand placements in films and OTT content.
Pricing & Intelligence: Develop pricing benchmarks and market intelligence reports to ensure SkyBlue remains competitive in the fragmented Indian OOH landscape.
Requirements
IDEAL PROFILE:
The Agency Veteran: 512 years of experience within the media buying/planning teams of a reputed agency or a major media owner.
OOH Specialist: Deep roots in the Indian OOH ecosystem with a proven track record of managing large-scale outdoor budgets.
Integrated Thinker: Ability to look beyond a single hoarding and visualize how a brand story travels from a "Bus Wrap" to a "Digital Screen."
Network Heavyweight: A ready-to-use black book of vendors and media agency leads across the country.
Required Skills:
Culturally Fluent: You have a pulse on current trends and an award-minded creative approach. Agency Veteran: Proven experience working within media or creative agencies. Master Storyteller: Confident in your presentation skills with proficiency in tools like PPT and Canva to bring ideas to life. Norm Challenger: Someone ready to set new standards in content creation rather than following existing ones. Experience Level: 5 to 8 years in the industry.
