At Collins Foods our people are at the heart of everything we do and were looking for an organised proactive People Coordinator to help deliver exceptional support across our teams and ensure a smooth positive experience for every employee.
In this pivotal coordination role youll work closely with the People & Culture team to keep our people processes running seamlessly. Youll support key stages of the employee lifecycle manage essential administration and systems updates and provide timely accurate assistance to leaders and team members. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for helping others youll play an important part in strengthening our people foundations and enhancing how we work
This role is an initial 12-month contract
What Youll Be Doing
- Manage the HR Hotline and HR Enquiries inbox providing timely accurate advice within service level expectations including interpretation of policies procedures child employment requirements and relevant awards and enterprise agreements.
- Escalate employee grievances and sensitive matters to the People Advisor or Senior People Advisor depending on complexity of the case.
- Prepare and issue employment contracts and change of conditions documentation for management appointments including tracking completion and processing associated forms.
- Provide onboarding administration support to applicants and restaurant management to ensure a smooth and efficient commencement experience.
- Coordinate background checks for restaurant management and team member roles (where required) ensuring compliance and timely completion.
- Maintain immigration and visa compliance records for restaurant employees ensuring obligations are met and documentation is up to date.
- Coordinate restaurant visit schedules for new Restaurant Support Centre team members as part of their induction experience.
- Prepare general correspondence including confirmation of employment letters jury service letters and other required employment documentation.
- Support the Casual Conversion process each period and assist with the quarterly management bonus process.
- Manage filing and records administration including archiving terminated employee files and converting documentation into digital formats.
- Assist the Advice & Service Delivery team by contributing to HR projects initiatives and continuous improvement activities and other duties as required.

- Administration skills
- Previous experience working within retail operations including sales service systems processes and compliance
