Your Opportunity

Our SEQ Operations team is committed to ensuring the safety and ongoing security of our customers passengers and the general community. Due to our commitment to safety and on-going improvement of our network we have apermanent full-time opportunityfor a CCTV Coordinator to join the Security Intelligence portfolio.

In this busy hands on role you will effectively co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of the Security CCTV Unit (SCU). This position has three Analyst direct reports and reports directly to the Security CCTV Team Leader. This position requires someone to deliver forensic evidence for external stakeholders as well as the processing of CCTV recordings for internal stakeholders. Ideally someone who is able to conducted repeat job processing work manage others and be a key stakeholder as part of fault remediation and CCTV technology projects would be best suited for this role.

Overview of main responsibilities:

  • Oversee SCU workflow and evidence control ensuring all documents materials and evidence in digital analogue hard copy are safeguarded in line with SCU procedures legislation codes of practice and privacy principles.
  • Raise track and allocate CCTV requests managing procurement retrieval dispatch and archiving to ensure compliance with SCU administrative procedural and forensic requirements.
  • Liaise with Police external and internal customers to manage CCTV requests enquiries and information exchanges effectively.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities including audits administrative and technical reviews tests and maintenance.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience in a training others / Intelligence / Security / project management/CCTV and or Telecommunications
  • High level of computer or telecommunications fault-finding experience
  • High level of attention to detail ability to follow Processes and Procedures
  • Proven ability to respect others

The recruitment and selection process for this position will require a criminal history check and psychometric assessment to confirm suitability to be regularly exposed to distressing images and to lead and work in a small team addition video screening interview and face to face interview will be conducted for further shortlisted candidates.
