Position Summary
The High School Curriculum Coordinator & Learning Support position is a full-time role that combines curriculum leadershipwith direct student learning support. The role is structured as adual-responsibility positionwith time allocated between coordinating and supporting the high school curriculum and providing targeted academic support to students.
Under the direction of the Dean of Academics this role ensures faithful implementation of the Regnum Christi Education curriculum and standards promotes instructional coherence across departments and supports student learning through academic interventions and learning support services.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in education or a related field; masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 35 years of successful high school teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of curriculum design instructional strategies and assessment at the secondary level preferably with Regnum Christi schools.
- Experience with learning support academic intervention or differentiated instruction preferred
- Experience with Regnum Christi Education experience a plusor a demonstrated willingness to be fully formed in and committed to its standards curriculum and mission
- Practicing Catholic who supports and models the mission values and educational philosophy of Regnum Christi Education
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Implementation & Alignment
- Implement and support the Regnum Christi Education high school curriculum and standardswith fidelity
- Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment of curriculum across departments and grade levels
- Maintain and update curriculum maps scope and sequence documents and pacing guides
- Support the integration of Catholic identity virtue formation and leadership development within academic courses
- Assist with curriculum documentation for accreditation diocesan review and internal evaluation
Instructional Support
- Collaborate with teachers and department chairs to support effective instructional planning and delivery
- Provide guidance on lesson design assessments and instructional strategies aligned with RCE pedagogy
Assessment & Data
- Support with coordination of common assessments and curriculum-based evaluations
- Support faculty in analyzing student performance data to inform instruction
- Monitor curriculum effectiveness and identify gaps or areas for improvement
- Prepare curriculum-related reports and recommendations for the Dean of Academics Principal or Executive Director
Professional Development
- Support professional development related to curriculum instruction and Regnum Christi Integral Formation methodology
- Assist with onboarding and curriculum orientation for new high school faculty
Student Learning Support (Part-Time Allocation)
- Provide direct academic support to students through small-group or individual learning support
- Collaborate with teachers to identify students in need of academic intervention or skill development
- Support students with organization study skills executive functioning and academic strategies
- Monitor student progress and communicate with the Dean of Academics and faculty as appropriate
- Assist in developing and implementing academic support plans aligned with school expectations
- Work collaboratively with faculty deans and counselors to support student success
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the Dean of Academics on academic initiatives and improvement plans
- Support the academic priorities and vision set by the High School Principal
- Communicate curriculum expectations and academic support structures clearly to faculty
- Collaborate with other deans to support the holistic academic and formative development of students
