Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Business Development Consultant with deep expertise in commercial insurance to join our growing team. This role focuses on mid-to-large construction manufacturing and distribution accounts helping clients reduce risk gain control over their insurance programs and unlock long-term financial benefits through captive strategies. Youll work closely with risk managers CFOs and business owners to identify opportunities for alternative risk financing structure tailored captive programs and guide them through the onboarding and implementation process.

Your Impact:

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities with mid-to-large construction manufacturing and distribution firms.

  • Educate clients on the benefits and mechanics of a variety of alternative risk transfer products.

  • Coordinate risk assessments and collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams to evaluate captive feasibility.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CEOs CFOs Risk Managers Controllers).

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver customized proposals presentations and financial models.

  • Stay current on industry trends regulatory changes and emerging captive structures.

  • Represent the company at industry events conferences and client meetings.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • 5 years of experience in commercial insurance sales with experience on captive insurance or alternative risk transfer products preferred

  • Strong understanding of construction and manufacturing industry risks and insurance needs

  • Proven track record of consultative selling to mid-market and large enterprise clients

  • Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills

  • Ability to simplify complex insurance concepts for non-technical stakeholders

  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance Risk Management or related field preferred

  • CPCU ARM or ACI designations a plus

Pay Range:

$147700 - $250000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required geography and/or budget for this role.
