Job Summary

Our client is seeking a competent ethical and highly experienced individual for the position of Security & Loss Control Manager who will lead and strengthen our security operations across all sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Create improve and implement comprehensive security and loss control SOPs across all business units whilst working closely with departmental heads to develop site specific procedures that address emerging risks.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities through intelligence past incidents and trend analysis and implement immediate corrective actions.
  • Ensure all security systems and technologies (CCTV alarms access control) are fully functional and effectively utilized.
  • Oversee and enforce strict access protocols at all entry and exit points.
  • Ensure guards strictly follow biosecurity SOPs to protect livestock staff and facilities.
  • Maintain a clean well organised and secure environment around guard houses and entry points
  • Lead investigations relating to theft vandalism misconduct or any form of loss.
  • Prepare detailed reports implement corrective actions and track progress until full closure.
  • Develop and coordinate emergency response procedures for all operational areas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with police crime committees neighbourhood watch groups and other security partners.
  • Develop internal and external intelligence networks for proactive crime prevention.
  • Represent the company in crime related matters requiring official engagement.
Key Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a senior security or loss control management role.
  • Strong background in investigations incident management intelligence gathering and emergency response.
  • Experience in industrial agricultural or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Hands on experience with CCTV systems alarms access control and modern security technology.
  • High integrity professionalism and ethical conduct.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong financial discipline and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with law enforcement and community security stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Degree or Diploma in Security Management Risk Management Criminology Police Studies or related field.
  • Professional certifications in security loss control or investigations an added advantage.
