Automotive Service Writer Responsibilities:
- Automotive writers must understand vehicles to assist customers and technicians.
- Selling maintenance of vehicles to ensure proper performance
- Assist and consult with other automotive service writers in working toward customer satisfaction.
- The service writer should be able to interact with customers explaining any issues found with the vehicle as well as the options the customer has to rectify the problems found.
Automotive Service Writer Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Drivers License
- Good desktop computer knowledge and typing skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Positive can-do attitude with a willingness to help
- Team-oriented flexible and focused on maintaining the best customer service
- Working knowledge of automobiles preferred.
