Job Summary

Youll be instrumental in developing financial models providing critical insights and supporting strategic decision-making across hardware software design and operations teams.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive headcount planning cycles generating insights that enable timely and strategic business decisions
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial reporting practices using advanced analytical and automation technologies
- Craft compelling financial summaries and business insights for senior leadership presentations
- Coordinate and consolidate roadmap changes across planning and development cycles
- Collaborate extensively with engineering and finance organizations to deliver exceptional results

About the team
We are a dynamic group of financial professionals within Amazon Devices working at the intersection of technology and strategic planning. Our team is committed to supporting the innovative spirit of a group that has transformed consumer electronics from the Kindle to Amazon Echo. We value intellectual curiosity analytical thinking and the ability to drive meaningful business impact.
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4 years of identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
