The Role
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-sequenced lessons across a range of media
Supporting pupils with coursework sketchbooks and portfolio development
Preparing students for GCSE and A Level assessments with strong outcomes
Organising displays exhibitions and celebration of pupil work
Monitoring pupil progress and implementing targeted strategies to raise attainment
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Art Fine Art or a closely related discipline
Experience teaching Art at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge across practical and theoretical components
High expectations for pupil engagement and achievement
A professional organised and creative teaching approach
