The Art department delivers a broad and ambitious curriculum incorporating fine art digital media sculpture and mixed techniques. There is strong engagement at KS3 and KS4 with opportunities for KS5 teaching depending on experience.
The Role
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on specialism
Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across a range of media
Supporting pupils with coursework portfolio development and examination preparation
Encouraging independent creative thinking and technical skill development
Contributing to exhibitions displays and whole-school arts events
Monitoring progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
Working collaboratively within a supportive and innovative department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Art Fine Art or related field
Experience teaching Art at secondary level
Strong practical and theoretical subject knowledge
High expectations for pupil engagement and creativity
A reflective and forward-thinking teaching approach
