The Role
Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on specialism
Delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with NEA and coursework development
Maintaining high workshop safety standards and compliance
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
Monitoring progress and implementing attainment strategies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Design & Technology or a related subject
Experience teaching DT at secondary level
Strong workshop and health & safety knowledge
High expectations for pupil engagement and achievement
A proactive and collaborative approach
