Job Summary

The Role
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 expected
Delivering engaging lessons across drawing painting mixed media and contextual studies
Supporting pupils with GCSE and A Level coursework and portfolio preparation
Organising exhibitions displays and community showcases
Monitoring attainment and implementing strategies to secure strong examination outcomes
Contributing to curriculum refinement and departmental strategic planning
Supporting enrichment activities such as art clubs or gallery visits
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Fine Art or related discipline
Experience teaching Art at secondary level including KS5
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
A track record of securing strong outcomes at GCSE and/or A Level
High expectations for creativity behaviour and achievement
Excellent organisational and communication skills
