Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) Quality Operations & Execution (QO&E) team is seeking a Maintenance & Modification Senior Leader. The selected candidate will lead Field Operations teams at domestic and international locations performing maintenance and modification services for our military customers. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading with purpose and initiative across various time zones sites and teams to drive excellence and mission-first results. This leader can be positioned at any customer or Position can be located in either Philadelphia PA Minot North Dakota Seattle WA Jacksonville Fl Charleston SC Hazelwood MO Maxwell AFB AL or Mesa AZ. The selected candidate will need to be agile flexible and willing to travel on short notice and potentially up to 50% of the time. This leader must be able to know when to focus hard on the big picture vs. zooming in and focusing on the details.
Position Responsibilities:
Partners with Program leaders to drive collaborative success for all maintenance/modification/support activities for
Applies technical knowledge of product support/logistics disciplines and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities
Ability to differentiate RAA Scope Contract Language and Customer requirements
Manages employees and first-line and mid-level managers performing activities related to Program People Contract & Customer management
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives.
Acquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Manages develops and motivates team members; inspires and influences cross-functional teammates & partner stakeholders
Travel on short notice and be present with team members on various customer sites across the globe
Lead Act and Engage by example as necessary and when requested by Program Customer & Execution Teams
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
5 years of experience in project management developing communicating and implementing key strategic and operational initiatives
10 years of experience working with maintenance and modifications
10 years of experience leading organizations or functional teams while exhibiting the leadership attributes
5 years of experience supporting reviews of proposals contracts regulatory program and customer requirements
5 years of experience communicating collaborating and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders
Experience working with USAF customers
Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with MH-139 platform
Extensive experience managing teams with unique and diverse skillsets and experience levels
Extensive experience in a Program Management role
Experience with US Military aircraft programs and processes
Experience with DOD contract types and USG processes
