Position Overview
The Remote Office Clerk provides clerical and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations across the practice. This role focuses on data entry document management scheduling assistance and general office coordination in a fully remote environment.
This position is well-suited to someone detail-oriented dependable and comfortable working independently while supporting a creative professional team.
Key Responsibilities
Clerical Duties
Perform accurate data entry and maintain internal records
Organise and maintain digital filing systems and project documentation
Assist with document formatting proofreading and preparation
Maintain document logs and version control records
Administrative Support
Monitor and respond to routine email enquiries
Schedule meetings and manage shared calendars
Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes when required
Update databases contact lists and internal tracking systems
Financial & Reporting Assistance
Support invoice preparation and expense record updates
Assist with timesheet tracking and payroll documentation
Compile basic reports for internal review
General Office Support
Assist with onboarding documentation for new employees
Maintain cloud-based storage systems
Coordinate software subscriptions and vendor records
Support project teams with administrative needs
Requirements
12 years experience in a clerical administrative or office support role
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualification Professional degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA/MLA or equivalent); advanced degrees a plus. Significant professional experience (often 7 years or more) in landscape and urban design projects. Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership on complex multi-layered landscape projects. Proficiency in landscape design and documentation tools (AutoCAD Adobe Creative Suite GIS/3D tools). Excellent presentation graphic communication and interpersonal skills.
