We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client an independent garage who are looking to add an IMI Level 2 EV Technician to their growing team in London. This role is ideal for a technician who has EV safety qualifications and is looking to build hands-on experience within a professional EV workshop environment.
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on electric and hybrid vehicles
- Safely work around high-voltage systems in line with IMI Level 2 guidelines
- Perform vehicle health checks and basic inspections
- Assist senior EV technicians with diagnostics and repairs where required
- Maintain accurate service records and safety documentation
- Follow all health safety and environmental procedures
Requirements
- IMI Level 2 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Hazard Awareness (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- Basic understanding of EV systems and workshop safety procedures
- Strong work ethic and willingness to develop EV skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred

Proven track record in B2B sales and business development: Including prospecting new leads and closing complex opportunities from inception to scale. Excellent commercial negotiation skills: Ability to model negotiate and close complex deals across multiple stakeholders Experience working with commercial vehicle fleets: A good understanding of the fleet management value chain and fleet pain points Commercial acumen: To enable you to forecast revenue for your territory accurately and customers maintain contact information business history and actively manage your prospect pipeline Full UK driving license What will help you stand out A strong network of contacts and relationships across the commercial fleet space especially for truck bus and van Previous experience in EV charging systems or fleet electrification Additional languages
