IT Technician Outstanding Secondary School Derby

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Technician to join an Outstanding secondary school in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about technology and supporting teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will maintain the schools IT systems provide technical support and ensure that digital resources are used effectively across the school. You will play a key role in supporting both staff and students.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills technical knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to staff and students
Maintain hardware software and networks
Support classroom technology
Manage user accounts and permissions
Assist with IT development projects
Ensure system security
Requirements:
Relevant IT qualification or experience
Strong technical knowledge
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in a school setting (desirable)
