IT Technician Outstanding Independent School York

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Technician to join an Outstanding independent secondary school in York. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about technology and supporting teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT systems providing technical support and ensuring that digital resources are used effectively across the school. You will support both staff and students and contribute to the development of the schools IT provision.
This role requires strong technical knowledge problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to staff and students
Maintain IT systems and infrastructure
Support classroom technology
Manage user accounts and permissions
Assist with IT projects and upgrades
Ensure system security
Requirements:
Relevant IT qualification or experience
Strong technical knowledge
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in a school setting (desirable)
