The Opportunity
Were looking for an experienced Test Lead / Team Manager to join a high-performing delivery team leading the testing strategy across a range of impactful digital projects.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical automation expertise with the ability to lead mentor and inspire teams. Youll play a key role in shaping testing approaches improving quality practices and ensuring successful delivery across the full software lifecycle.
What Youll Be Doing
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across one or more projects
- Define and implement test strategies and automation frameworks
- Work closely with engineering product and delivery teams
- Provide clear quality insights and reporting to stakeholders
- Drive best practices in automation and QA
- Mentor and support testers helping to grow team capability
- Contribute to estimation planning and continuous improvement
What Were Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Test Lead / Senior QA
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools such as:
- Cypress
- Selenium
- Cucumber / Robot Framework
- Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks
- Demonstrable team leadership or mentoring experience
Technical Environment
- CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI)
- Containerisation tools (Docker Kubernetes)
- Cloud platforms (AWS or similar)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible desirable)
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborative mindset with experience in Agile environments
- Proactive problem solver with attention to detail
