Job Summary
Job Description: Medical Writer at AmeriHealth Hospice
Job Responsibilities:
- Research write and edit various types of medical content including articles reports and educational materials.
- Ensure all written content meets regulatory standards and is accurate clear and concise.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to gather information and ensure content is based on current medical evidence.
- Review and interpret medical data to create understandable and informative content for patients and families.
- Coordinate with the marketing and communications team to develop engaging and informative materials.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field.
- Proven experience as a medical writer in a healthcare or hospice setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology research methodologies and writing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desired Experience:
- Experience working in a hospice or palliative care environment.
- Familiarity with end-of-life care principles and practices.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $120000 - $130000 per year.
