This contract on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional care in a supportive medical practice environment.
As a Locum MD you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to our patients. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment and management of womens health issues. This role is essential for maintaining the continuity of care and enhancing the overall patient experience within our practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct routine examinations and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Manage prenatal intrapartum and postnatal care
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
- Participate in continuous education and training
- Adhere to all medical protocols and ethical standards
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
Monthly Volume: 27 deliveries
Cases: GYN procedures vaginal deliveries c-sections
Support Staff: Nurses OB/GYN Director anesthesia radiology hospitalists
EMR: Meditech 6.1
Must be board-certified
