As a Locum MD in Radiology you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes. This position allows you to engage with a variety of cases and contribute to the continuous improvement of our radiology services.
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans
- Communicate results and findings to referring physicians
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Provide expert consultations on radiology cases
- Stay updated with advancements in radiological technology
- Mentor and guide junior staff in imaging techniques
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Radiology
- Associate level experience in radiology practice
- Strong knowledge of imaging modalities (X-ray MRI CT Ultrasound)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Current medical licensure in the state of Florida
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Setting: Onsite
Daily Volume: Up to 5 biopsies 2-3 MRIs 35 diagnostics
Full mammography scope including biopsies and breast MR
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
