As a Locum MD you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services to our patients. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care while managing a diverse range of cases. This role is integral to our mission of improving womens health and supporting families in the Gainesville community.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient information and treatment plans accurately
- Participate in patient education and counseling
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license in the state of Florida
- Completion of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in Ob/Gyn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules
Schedule: 5p-7a 5-10 shifts a month
Annual Deliveries: 3300
Support Staff: Midwife physicians on call and residents
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
