Job Summary

Job Summary

The Facility Manager oversees daily operations of all CapitalSage office spaces (within the corporate and factory locations) and estates ensuring efficient service delivery safety compliance and cost-effective facility management. The role leads facility teams manages vendors and budgets drives operational excellence and implements sustainability initiatives across the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the office spaces factories and estates across the group ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage all facilities services including maintenance security and janitorial services.
  • Lead and develop a team of facility staff including maintenance technicians custodial workers and administrative support personnel.
  • Provide training guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
  • Develop and manage budgets for each facility monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to remain within financial targets.
  • Monitor and analyze facility performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding operational matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Source and manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors.
  • Negotiate contracts and evaluate service delivery to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Advocate for and implement green practices and sustainability initiatives across facilities to reduce environmental impact.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Facilities Management Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 46 years of proven experience in facility management estate operations or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multi-site facilities and leading diverse teams.
  • Strong background in budget preparation financial management and cost-control strategies.
  • Track record of implementing operational improvements and sustainability initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in vendor management contract negotiation and service quality evaluation.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations compliance standards and risk management practices.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client relations.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and adapt to dynamic operational environments.
  • Competence in using facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
