In partnership with our client we are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to serve as the definitive voice of a trailblazing fintech startup building a smart wealth management platform that accelerates economic empowerment in emerging markets. You will be a pivotal strategic partner in crafting the narrative that empowers users on their financial journey from conducting market research and developing product messaging to creating high-converting campaigns and managing vibrant communities. Your Responsibilities
Market Research and amp; Product Positioning
  • You will conduct market research to identify potential customers and competitors.
  • You will develop product messaging and positioning that differentiates the product in the market.
  • You will analyze customer needs and preferences to develop effective marketing strategies.
  • You will monitor and analyze competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • You will stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Content Strategy and amp; Copywriting
  • You will be the lead voice for the brand crafting everything from website copy and email newsletters to educational blog posts and scripts for high-impact video content.
  • You will create content for various marketing channels including email social media and the web.
  • You will translate complex financial product features into benefits that resonate with the target audience in both the Ghanaian and Nigerian markets.
Campaign Development and amp; Execution
  • You will develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads increase sales and increase product adoption.
  • You will develop and manage product launch plans.
  • You will track and report on marketing campaign performance.
  • You will successfully execute major campaigns per quarter that result in measurable upticks in new user sign-ups and asset growth.
Community and amp; Brand Management
  • You will manage online communities ensuring that users feel heard supported and excited about their investment journey.
  • You will act as the primary face of the company during activations and events pushing visibility in both digital and physical spaces.
  • You will monitor and report on customer feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • You will analyze customer feedback and make recommendations for product improvements.
Sales Enablement and amp; Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • You will collaborate with sales teams to develop sales enablement materials.
  • You will work alongside the Product and Growth teams to launch new features ensuring the marketing materials are technically accurate but commercially compelling.
  • You will work with product teams to ensure that all marketing materials are accurate and up to date.
  • You will collaborate closely with the Customer Experience team to ensure all outbound communication is aligned with the real-world feedback of users.
Budget and amp; Partnership Management
  • You will manage the marketing budget for specific activations and events ensuring every expenditure delivers maximum impact and lead generation.
  • You will manage budgets and track expenditures to ensure that marketing efforts are effective and cost-efficient.
  • You will develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners.
What Success looks like
  • Increase community engagement rates and social sentiment by 25% within the first six months.
  • Successfully execute at least two major campaigns per quarter that result in a measurable uptick in new user sign-ups and asset growth.
  • Establish a streamlined content production workflow that allows the team to react to market trends within 2448 hours.
  • Maintain a 100% on-brand rating across all channels ensuring the voice remains professional trustworthy and accessible.
  • Track and report on marketing campaign performance with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
To be considered for this role you should have
  • Bachelors degree in marketing business or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in Product Marketing Content Marketing or Copywriting preferably in the technology or fintech industry (Agency experience is highly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to write scripts manage campaigns and create engaging digital content that converts.
  • Experience in the Fintech or Tech sector with a proven ability to explain technical products to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate with precision concision and clarity.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience managing marketing budgets and physical event activations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and to respond rapidly to changing priorities.
  • Extremely organized and able to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • A high level of professional and personal integrity.
  • A high degree of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive matters.
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • Previous experience working with cross-functional product development teams and managing engineering deliverables.
  • Completed some coursework in computer science or gone to a coding program.
  • Deep interest in tech-enabled solutions personal finance and blockchain solutions.
  • Familiarity with JIRA or other software project management tools.
