Job Summary

Primarily responsible for identifying pursuing and securing new business opportunities for the PTSP team. This involves researching potential clients understanding their needs and presenting relevant solutions.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This Involves tracking their performance regular communication understanding their evolving needs and ensuring clients satisfaction.

Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business objectives including market expansion revenue growth and product/service development.

Analysing data to make informed decisions and refined business strategies. This will also aid the weekly monthly quarterly and annual PTSP performance report rendition.

Collaborating with PTSP support team operations team and other internal teams to develop compelling proposals and pitches for potential clients. Ensuring that proposals align with client needs and showcases the PTSPs capabilities effectively.

Negotiating terms pricing and contracts with clients to secure deals that are mutually beneficial. Working with Legal team to manage contract agreements and ensure compliance with term.

Working closely with other departments such as regional sales team product managers and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions and support business objectives.

Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess business development efforts effectiveness. Generating reports and insights to inform decision making and strategy refinement.



Education Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Finance or a related field


Experience:

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in business development preferably within the payment processing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of payment systems PTSP (Payment Terminal Service Provider) models and the financial services ecosystem.
  • Strong reporting skills with the ability to extract and clearly communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel Power BI or CRM analytics to support performance tracking and pipeline management.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with a strong grasp of interpreting financial and market data to inform and shape growth strategies.
