Join our policy team and work across government to ensure policies reflect the voices and aspirations of disabled people.

This exciting opportunity will see you:

  • Support the implementation of the New Zealand Disability Strategy and improve outcomes for disabled people.
  • Focus on education policy with opportunities to contribute to health employment housing and justice.
  • Collaborate with agencies to strengthen disability perspectives in policy development.

Mōu About You:

You bring:

  • Experience in policy or related work and familiarity with government and policy processes.
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and communicate clearly in accessible ways.
  • Commitment to understanding the diverse lived experiences of disabled people and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach.

Experience in education policy is an advantage but not essential.
